(Click to Read More) Relieve Neck Pain with Xuanzhong Point Massage and the “永” Head Exercise

Neck pain has become a silent struggle for many people. If stiffness makes turning your neck difficult, causes pain that disrupts your daily life, or keeps you awake at night, try these two effective solutions:

1. Xuanzhong Point Massage

- Location: This point is located 3 cun (roughly the width of four fingers) above the tip of the outer ankle bone, along the back edge of the fibula.

- How to Massage: Use your thumb to apply gentle pressure and massage the point while stabilizing your lower leg with the other four fingers. Repeat this three times a day for 15 minutes each session.

2. “永” Head Exercise

- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Imagine your neck as a handle and your head as a pen, tracing the strokes of the Chinese character “永” (Yong) in the air. Perform this motion 20-30 times.

- Do 30 shoulder shrugs to help release neck tension.

- Lightly pat your neck while gently moving it to promote relaxation.

Consistent practice of these techniques can improve blood circulation to the head, relax muscles, and enhance joint mobility, helping to prevent and relieve neck pain.
